About my culture!!

There are 4,000 cities and towns in India. About 300 cities have a population over 1,00,000. Seven cities have a population of more than 3 million. Greater Mumbai still is the most populated city in its 440 sq.

 

The Indian flag, called the Tricolor, was adopted on July 22, 1947. It consists of three horizontal stripes of saffron (top), white (middle), and green (bottom). At the center is a navy blue wheel with 24 spokes called the Ashoka Chakra. The color saffron represents courage and sacrifice, the color white stands for truth and purity, and the color green represents prosperity.

 

India now boasts 6,884 ultra-high-net-worth individuals with assets over US $30 million and claims to have 140 billionaires- ranking the country third in the world for billionaires, behind the USA and China.

 

The sari is over 5000 years old!! Which is pretty old!! The sari dates back to at least 3000 BCE.
