Task Description: This is a reading task I did last week that I forgot to post about. For this task I had to read a short paragraph and answer some questions. This task is actually a lot like my inference cards task but instead the paragraphs are on a doc. Thank you for viewing my blog post 🙂

Bob trolled along beside Dave. Suddenly there was a bark and a flash of white and Bob was gone, racing across the road. Before Dave fully realized what was happening there was a screech of brakes and a dull thud.

ITEM 7 THE PARADE
The children craned their necks and looked eagerly into the distance. When they heard the first sounds of the band they knew that, at last, the Santa parade was not far away and coming closer. A.small boy at the front seemed not to notice. Eventually his friends tugged on his shirt and pointed in the direction of the approaching parade. As he turned, his eyes lit up.

ITEM 8 PHONE CALL
I was out in the garden with Han when the phone rang. She quickly ran in and picked it up. “Hello,” she said breathlessly. Then, “No, it is not. You have the … Huh! Some people.” She came back outside/
“Another order for Chinese takeaways,” she muttered.
